For me, the University of Bremen is …
always in my heart as it shaped who I am today.
My professional background:
I am an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and David Packard Jr. Faculty Fellow at Santa Clara University (SCU) in the US. I also lead the Human-Machine Interaction & Innovation (HMI2) research group which has been supported by federal (NSF) and SCU internal grants. My primary research interests are in the fields of Robot Learning from Demonstrations, Human-Robot Interaction, and Assistive Robotics with a special focus on enhancing Human Performance.
What influenced me the most:
Prof. Graeser and Dr. Ristic-Durrant are the two people who influenced me the most. Special thanks to all my peers in the group of Prof. Graeser at the Institute of Automation.
